Advanced Energy Capital (“AEC”) is the parent of AEC Energy Management. AEC is a New York-based energy finance company that provides financing solutions to the energy industry. AEC is the founder of a public $1.7 billion renewable energy fund and has financed dozens of energy companies over the past 25 years. The AEC team has extensive experience in the retail energy and credit markets.

Jack Doueck

Mr. Jack Doueck has been in the financial services industry since 1992 and has founded and run several investment funds and companies. Along with Mr. Rudy, Mr. Doueck co-founded an investment advisory firm in 1997 that grew to over $1.3 billion under management. In 2011, with Mr. Rudy, he co-founded Advanced Energy Capital, LLC, Greenbacker Capital (the manager of a $2.6 billion public renewable energy fund), Energy Marketing Conferences (the largest conference for retail energy suppliers in North America), LED PLUS USA and several other energy-related ventures. 

In 2017 he co-founded AEC Energy Management, a licensed retail energy brokerage, consulting and management firm that works with large commercial real estate owners in sixteen states.  Mr. Doueck is a published author, energy consultant, and has written numerous white papers in the energy space. He has been a featured speaker at energy conferences and investment conferences around the world. Jack currently serves on the Board of Directors of several charitable organizations. Mr. Doueck graduated Valedictorian from Yeshiva University and attended the Bernard Revel Graduate School.

Richard Rudy

Mr. Richard Rudy’s legal, financial, energy, and corporate management experience uniquely positions him for all aspects of energy management and investment management. He spent several years at EF Hutton and Drexel, Burham & Lambert advising high net-worth clients with regard to alternatives to traditional equity and credit investments. In addition, his years as a practicing attorney provide the foundation for evaluating the myriad of legal issues that arise in most private investment structures. Mr. Rudy spent several years in a variety of corporate financial/managerial capacities and was jointly responsible, along with Jack Doueck (see above) for founding and running a $1.3 billion investment advisor.

Mr. Rudy has, together with Mr. Doueck, through Advanced Energy Capital financed over $600 million in transactions. Mr. Rudy is also a founding partner of Greenbacker Capital – the manager of a public $2.6 bn renewable energy fund. He has co-managed many investment funds and vehicles and has been featured at several energy and investment conferences around the world. Rick co-founded AEC Energy Management in 2017 with Jack Doueck and serves as its CIO and General Counsel. He has served on the Board of Directors of several privately held companies and charitable institutions. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Accounting and Investments from Brooklyn College and a Juris Doctor Degree from New York University Vanderbilt School of Law.

Ezra Doueck

Mr. Ezra Doueck is a Principal & Co-Founder of AEC Energy Management LLC, an affiliate of Advanced Energy Capital. He currently oversees marketing and operations at the company. His experience lies across industries including real estate, media, energy, and education. He has experience in several business development and client facing roles, including a position as the market director for the NY Region at Bisnow Media, successfully doubling market revenue Y/Y and expanding the client list by more than 45 firms. He organized and ran more than 50 in person networking events catering to the Commercial Real Estate industry, attracting over 15,000 attendees in aggregate.

Mr. Doueck has founded several small businesses and has run educational programs for non-profit organizations and for Columbia University in the City of New York. He has been featured as a guest speaker at industry conferences, quoted in Real Estate publications, and has written for The Huffington Post. Ezra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Journalism from CUNY Baruch College.

Jackson Lim

Mr. Jackson Lim serves as the Chief Financial officer of AEC Energy Management and affiliates.  He is responsible for the overall accounting and financial reporting functions as well as operations for AEC Energy Management and all AEC affiliates. Beyond the energy industry Mr. Lim has held controllership positions in finance, architecture, retail and restaurant businesses and started his accounting career in Moshkovsky CPA.  Known for attention to detail, organizational skills and strives to implement procedures to increase efficiency of the team.

Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the City University of New York, a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance from Marist College and is a State of New York CPA candidate.

Jonathan Soto

Mr. Jonathan Soto serves as the Director of Operations at AEC Energy Management. He is responsible for the overall operational construct, project oversight, quality control, regulatory reporting, and RFP management. Jonathan is known to be data driven, process-oriented, and ambitious in nature. 

Mr. Soto holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Operations Management from CUNY Baruch College.
